Train your staff in AI and keep proof that you did
Your people already write emails with ChatGPT, summarise meetings with Copilot or translate with DeepL. Since February 2025 the EU AI Act has required companies that use AI to take measures supporting the AI literacy of their staff.
ALF-01 is eight hours online, at each person's own pace, with a case study and a self-assessment in every unit, a final exam and a certificate per person. You keep the record of who took it, when and with what score. The course is delivered in Spanish.
- 8 hours
- 8 units
- 20-question final exam
- Verifiable certificate
The law doesn't ask for a qualification. It asks for measures you should be able to show
- Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 4 · AI literacy. It has applied since 2 February 2025. A company that uses AI systems takes measures to support the AI literacy of its staff and of anyone operating those systems on its behalf.
- July 2026 amendment · Regulation (EU) 2026/1744. Article 4 became an obligation of means. It doesn't require a specific level from anyone, minimum hours or an official certificate.
- European Commission Q&A. An internal record of the training is enough to show it. This course leaves that record done for you: who, when, for how long and with what score.
- Article 50 · Transparency. Since 2 August 2026 people must be told when they are talking to an AI. Images, audio and video manipulated with AI must be labelled. The course explains when a notice is needed.
Eight units, from the chatbot you use every day to what the law bans
Each unit comes with a case study, an exercise in your own job and a ten-question self-assessment.
- 1
What AI is and what sits inside your tools
What a language model really does and why it isn't a search engine.
- 2
Where it fails
Made-up facts, bias and overconfidence, with office examples.
- 3
The EU AI Act
Who it applies to, the risk levels and the real timetable after the 2026 amendment.
- 4
What is banned
The Article 5 practices, such as inferring an employee's emotions.
- 5
Data and confidentiality
What you never give an AI and what changes between a personal and a company account.
- 6
Transparency
When you have to say that an AI is answering or that content was made with AI.
- 7
Decisions about people
Why selecting, assessing or monitoring staff with AI is high-risk and what human oversight it needs.
- 8
Putting it into practice
A usage policy, an inventory of tools and who to tell when something goes wrong.
From request to certificate, with nothing to install
You request the training
You tell us how many people need it and we send you a quote.
We open your company's group
You send us a sheet with each person's name and email address. We enrol them.
Each person takes the course
They sign in with a code sent to their email, with no passwords. Eight hours across eight units, each with its own case study and self-assessment. At the end there is a 20-question exam.
Certificates and reports
Everyone who passes gets their certificate. You get the group report and each person's record.
A certificate per person and a record of the whole group
Verifiable certificate
Every certificate carries a code. Anyone can check it on the campus website without asking you.
Real study time
The campus counts reading time only while the course tab is in view. Leaving the page open untouched barely counts.
An exam that can't be copied
20 questions drawn from a bank of 160, with the options shuffled on every attempt. The pass mark is 80 % and there are two 30-minute attempts.
Each person's record
Logins, time per unit, attempts and score, as PDF or CSV. It's what you show when a client, a tender or an inspector asks what you have done.
This is the certificate each person receives
It shows the person's name, the course, the hours, the dates and a verification code. The certificate is issued in Spanish.
The image is a sample: the name and the code are made up.

What people ask us about AI training
Is AI training mandatory for my company?
If your company uses artificial intelligence, yes: Article 4 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 February 2025 to anyone using AI systems in their business. The law sets no hours or format. This course is one of those measures and keeps a record of who took it.
Who needs to take it?
Anyone who uses AI at work, anyone who makes decisions about people with the help of AI software and anyone who uses it on your company's behalf, such as an external contractor. If you don't know who uses it, unit 8 helps you find out.
How long does it take and how do you pass?
Eight hours across eight units: the content, a case study and a self-assessment in each one. Each person works at their own pace within the deadline your company sets. At the end there is a 20-question exam in 30 minutes. The pass mark is 80 % and there are two attempts.
What does each person need to sign in?
Their own email address and a web browser. They sign in with a one-time code sent to their email. No passwords and nothing to install.
What language is it in?
The course is in Spanish. If your staff need it in another language, tell us when you request the training.
What if I need more than the training?
Tarraco App Lab offers a consultancy service for the rest of the AI Act: an inventory of AI tools, a usage policy and transparency notices. You can find it at tarracoapplab.com.
Your staff already use AI. Make sure they know how.
Request the training and in eight hours each person will know what AI does well, where it fails and what you never give it.
